Two step spinning (slice spinning):

Petroleum naphtha PX PTA eg pet PSF

One step spinning (direct spinning):

Petroleum naphtha paraxylene (PX) - terephthalic acid (PTA) + ethylene glycol (eg) - polyester staple fiber (PSF)

2、 Specifications  varieties

Polyester filament can be generally divided into POY (pre oriented filament), FDY (full draft filament), DTY (low elastic filament)  other three categories. The production process is as follows:

There are two kinds of POY, one is directly used for weaving, the other is used for adding elasticity, after processing, it becomes DTY, with specifications of 50D, 75D, 100D, 150D, etc

FDY is generally directly used for weaving  warp knitting, with specifications of 50D, 68D, 75D, 100D, 150D, 200D, etc

DTY is generally directly used for weaving, with specifications ranging  75D to 300D
